It's Cactus -Indian Folk Art
Our beautifully handcrafted chapati bowls originated in rural India. These beautiful wooden bowls were originally used to mix dough for... you guessed it, chapati! However, they were also used as platters or trays carried by women on their heads to carry things for trade around the village. Each chapati bowl is really a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, being unique in color, size and shape. Our chapati bowls are handcarved from of a single piece of wood. As these are true, vintage, pre-loved chapati bowls, some of them have slight imperfections in the wood, while others have been mended adding to their uniqueness, history, and character. These are traditionally heirlooms passed down from generation to generation.
Condition: pre-loved, wear consistent with age
