The surface decoration is supplementary brocade featuring bird and geometric designs typical of Cotzal huipils.
Each Bag is a piece of a handwoven huipil blouse that was once worn by a Mayan woman from the Guatemalan highlands. Pieces of these treasured textiles are used to make modern bohemian clutch bags.
